One thing is certain. When the daily life becomes burdensome, sorrowful, filled with despair or dread then I know that my spiritual life is either under attack or in neglect. I’ve experienced this situation numbers of times, some lately. The answer to this lowliness of heart is both challenging and liberating. My heart is in need of fuel that only my Savior can supply.
Listen to these words: Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in HOPE, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Romans 12:9-13
Holding steadfast at God’s helm is always a game changer in body, mind and spirit. Seek the Lord and see how your perspective might change for the better!
