Our Hope in Christ
Week Thirty-Two - 2019

These weekly devotionals focus on the HOPE of our Salvation in Jesus Christ alone. God’s unchanging character and purpose was so revealed to us that He made it known with an oath that is a guarantee (Hebrews 6:17). We are strongly encouraged to flee to Him for our refuge and to hold steadfast to this HOPE that is set before us (Hebrews 6:18). We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a HOPE that enters into the inner place behind the curtain, where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a High Priest forever ... Romans 6:18-20. As Pastor John MacArthur states: Hope for the fulfillment of God’s salvation promise is the anchor of our soul keeping the believer secure during the times of trouble and turmoil.
