Our Hope in Christ
Week Forty-four - 2019

Some years ago I wrote a study entitled The House That God Builds. This year the Tuesday Bible Study is looking at the Book of Hebrews. Hebrews 3:4-6 states: For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. Now Moses was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken later; but Christ was faithful as a Son over His house – whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our Hope firm until the end.

The writer of Hebrews was emphasizing to the believers that faithfulness to Christ was proof of their genuine faith. The finished work of Jesus Christ plus nothing is the message. We walk by faith in Jesus Christ alone, He paid it all.

Now that is something to be truly Thankful for every day! Amen!
