The Root of Righteousness
Week Twelve

Over the last 11 weeks we have looked at the Scripture as it unfolds the truth about who the Root of Righteousness truly is. It's all about the perfect Triune God we worship and adore! Beginning with Adam, who sinned – then to Abraham who by faith believed God and God accredited it to him as righteousness, to the Law and the nation of Israel and then to the Messiah and the Cross of Calvary – our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We see God speak now through His Word. We are now charged to live Righteously. Paul declared our need to live righteously in Romans 6:12-14:

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Amen

Lord, help us to live as instruments of Righteousness today and always.
Amen.
