The Root of Righteousness
Week 17

As believers we are to be ambassadors of Christ. A wonderful reminder of our commission here on earth is found in 2 Corinthians 5:17a, 20, 21:

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation ... therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, making His appeal through us. We emplore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Our true Root of righteousness is in Christ. We are not to be afraid to share the Gospel of Christ everywhere we go. Being His Ambassador to the lost world is a holy calling for every true believer!
