The Root of Righteousness
Week 21

Listen to the encouragement of Paul for believers in living Holy and obedient lives to honor God: Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil ... Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day ... Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In addition to all, take up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. And to pray ... at all times in the Spirit!

These verses give the believer the tools to combat and withstand the evil in our world. It is ours to utilize and walk boldly in! Help us, Lord, to choose You and not allow the evil to rob us of Your Peace! Amen.
