Devotionals 2020 The Root of Righteousness Week 25
As I study Scripture, I’m reminded of lessons learned in my youth. Growing up in a Christian home was truly a gift of God. We were poor, but rich; we struggled, but God always provided. Our home was filled with love and goodness.
Reading from Proverbs 1:1-5, I can see how the truth of these words were exemplified to my life: The Proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel: To know wisdom and instructions, to understand words of insight, to receive instructions in wise dealing, in Righteousness, justice, equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth – let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance...
These words are so true for our children and to all the family of God today and always!
