Devotionals 2020 The Root of Righteousness Week 31
This Devotional Series focuses on the word Righteousness - the specific form of Righteousness that comes only by way of true faith in the King of kings and Lord of lords ... Jesus Christ. Twice in Hebrews 11 we see these words spoken. The first is in Hebrews 11:7: By faith, Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of Righteousness which is according to faith.
Noah was a man of faith. He believed God and, in his belief, he took action (obedience) to fulfill this mission that appeared by all worldly accounts to be unthinkable. His faith and obedience (Genesis 6:9) was rewarded.
Help us Lord to walk by faith in the seemingly impossible circumstances of life. Amen.
