The Root of Righteousness
Week 40

The Epistles of the New Testament share a variety of transforming doctrinal truths for every believer in Jesus Christ. Listen once again to Peter, the apostle to the church of his day: Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ; May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:1-2

Every true believer shares the equal gift of salvation, because God's righteousness has been imputed to us. We are equally saved. The only difference is that some have been saved from more sin than others. Our salvation gift is equal to every believer, because every believer has sinned!

Thank You Lord for Your free gift of salvation to me. Amen
