Week 7

The Book of Hebrews is a very enlightening Scripture. This year I’m teaching truths from its inspired text. Hebrews 11 especially has encouraged my heart. From Hebrews 11:9-10, 16 you can see why!

By faith he went (Abraham) to live in the land of promise as in a foreign land, living in tents, with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the City that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God ... but as it is, they desired a better Country, that is a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed
to be called their God, for He has prepared for them a CITY.

Looking to the future for God’s family is the most exciting pondering of all. Knowing that my God has prepared for me a special place because He loves me (Psalm 5:7) is joy in the extreme! Hallelujah!
