Glimpses of Heaven are seen in many places in the Bible. From Genesis to Revelation, we see over and over the wonder, mystery, joy and victory that heaven exhibits. A verse I’m sure you are aware of and thought about often is found in Revelation 21:4 (God) He will wipe every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death, there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain, the first things have passed away.

Randy Alcorn in his amazing book Heaven states: These are the tears of suffering over sin and death, the tears of oppressed people, the cries of the poor, the widow, the orphaned, the unborn, and the persecuted. God will wipe away the tears of racial injustice. Such crying shall be no more.

Jesus paid our sin debt. In heaven we will be free and joyful, and nothing will enter there that is not of God! How amazing and exciting to anticipate such a place of Joy, and all because of Jesus our Savior and Lord!
