Heaven Is My Forever Home

Week 18

Last week I spoke of one day seeing my Lord face to face. It is a Biblical reality and one with extreme fulfillment yet to come. In 1 Corinthians 13 we read of LOVE! God's love! There is no other. As the Apostle spoke those words (filled with the Spirit) he stated: when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now, we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
(1 Corinthians 13:11b-12)

Our forever home has a forever God who dwells there. The joy of heaven is not the home but the One who resides there! He is eternal, holy, awesome in power, working wonders. He is our Father and Jesus is His Son, our Bridegroom. The joy of heaven is the fellowship of our union with the Godhead – O what a wonderful day that will be! :)
