Week 19

One thing I have learned over the years is that wealth is a state of mind. Coming from a humble home filled with love and the desire to share with others has filled my life with continued blessings. From 1 Timothy 6:18-19 I see a profound truth. Listen to these Spirit inspired words and discover the wealth of compassion as described by the Apostle Paul to his young student Timothy: Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasures for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age.

I don’t need riches in this life to give to God. Rather I need a desire to do His will, help the needy and pray for others. The wealth of heaven is not earthly but Spiritual. We all can share this life lesson in whatever financial state we are in!

Oh the joy of Christ and His eternal economy!
