Week 21

As I write this devotional, I’m enjoying some of the blessings of a Spring day, cool breezes and sunshine. It’s late Spring in Florida and many flowers have already bloomed and Summer is in the air. Anticipation for summer gardens, vegetable patches, and summer rains are already seeded in the garden!

Another Anticipation is also on the horizon! Listen to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.
For the LORD Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Wow! What a wonderous promise to ponder and anticipate.
It is true, the Lord will return soon!
Amen, come Lord Jesus!
