Week 22

In June I will complete another Bible Study, this time in the Book of Hebrews chapter 11, the Hall of Faith. This study has helped me to appreciate even more the plans and purposes of God, His Scripture and eternity.
What is faith?

Hebrews 11:1 tells us: Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things unseen. From righteous Abel, Adam's son, to Enoch, Abraham, Moses and so many others we see individuals who lived a faith walk experience that honored God and brought us this Scripture we value
and love today.

A truth in this faith chapter is told of folks who were of low estate - some even worldly rich - being honored in an amazing leap of faith of what the Lord required of them! Hebrews 11:8 states: By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. That is a true faith walk, trusting in God to lead! We know the result today of His faith journey, right from the pages Scripture.

What about us? Where is God leading you today? Is your faith, His faith? Help us Lord to walk in Your sight as we walk by faith daily. Amen
