Practicing loyalty in Jesus' name can be a challenge in our mixed-up world. Knowing the Word of God and practicing the Word of God can be difficult. Personalities and positions sway our thinking. What does God say about how we are to live in this world?

Jesus taught us to pray God's will be done on earth, not just in heaven. (See Matthew 6:10) We need to examine what God desires and what God hates. Our actions today are being documented in heaven. How we live, who we hang out with, what we say, watch on TV or internet, follow on Facebook, listen to at work - all count. 1 Corinthians 15:58 states: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labors are not in vain.

As a citizen of God's heaven, He needs to help us to choose His will over our own emotion, mood or inclination. This is His will. May His will be our will every day! Amen.
