Week 27

Praising the Lord is a theme throughout the Psalms. Worship is a theme throughout Scripture. Listen to these words from Psalm 96:9: Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. What a divine scene it must be
in heaven.

Now turn to Revelation 5:9-10 and visualize this scene in heaven if you can: And they (the 4 living creatures and the 24 elders) sang a new song saying, worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seal, for You were slain, and by Your hand You ransomed peoples and nations, and You have made them a kingdom of priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.

Our heritage is already worked out in heaven! We can praise Jesus for the worthy sacrifice on the cross to save us from the sin problem we were created with. This indeed is good news to be shared and praise of thanks to be offered to our Savior, Jesus!
