Heaven Is My Forever Home
Devotionals for 2021
Week 29

Recently I shared a brief devotional with ladies at a Summer Time Brunch. It was called “Down a Garden Path”. The theme was simple. A Master Gardner (God) planted a perfect garden in Eden. And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there He put the man whom He had formed. Genesis 2:8. This Master Gardner, our Creator, began this thing we call LIFE! There was only one command He gave to Adam: but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall no eat, for in that day that you eat from it you shall surely die. Genesis 2:17
Well, the rest is history. Adam rebelled
(this is called sin) and all creation
was condemned to death.
People today wonder why so much suffering, rebellion, death happen. Well it’s called sin - disobedience to God's one command.
But that isn't the end of the story. It is just the beginning. Genesis 3:15 is our Banner of HOPE! Fulfilled in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us the full story. It is a MUST READ!
From my heart to yours,
