Week 33

I'm always challenged by the way we respond to certain concerns and ongoing issues that seem to come to us as we age. When I was young, having a family was my goal. As I grew more mature, daily life gave me pause for concern and there was often great joy in the mix. Now that I am older, I see it all so very differently.

Yes, my family is still special to me. But more than that, my love for the FAMILY of God has grown immeasurably! The joy of a family reunion in Heaven will be extremely exciting and joyful. My hope and sincere prayer is that my physical family will also by my Spiritual Family. I pray and trust the Lord for all of this. To consider that one day I will be able to see my Savior and God is beyond awesome. This will be inexpressible ... I'm reminded of John's words: We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is!! 1 John 3:2.
