Heaven Is My Forever Home Devotionals for 2021 Week 41
As I walk with the Lord, I am often given verses that cause me to stop and ponder. One of those verses is found in Isaiah 6:1-13. Isaiah begins with these words:
In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; the train of His robe filled the temple. Above Him stood the seraphim. Each had 6 wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD of host, the whole earth is full of His glory. And the foundation of the threshold shook at the voice of Him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
This is another viewing by a prophet of God. Isaiah experienced a brief glimpse into God’s realm. It is placed in Scripture for a reason. Let’s ponder these glimpses into Heaven and rejoice in our Awesome God!
