It is impossible to absorb the wonder, majesty, splendor and glory of God and His realm we call Heaven! The Book of Revelation has long been a Book of descriptive details regarding the end times and how God will deal with sin and evil. Still, we can learn so much from John's end time vision. Heaven is repeated 55 times in Revelation. Twice we see God called The God of Heaven. This phrase is used frequently in the Old Testament as well. From Revelation 11:13 and 16:11 we read these sobering words:

And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of Heaven ... People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of Heaven for their pain and sores. They did not repent of their deeds.

God is in His Heaven. He is ruling, reigning and judging this world! Today we see God at work making ready for His soon return for His Church family! May we keep vigilant in our daily walk to keep a proper focus on what truly is the most important thing ... Salvation for the lost and Sanctification for the Redeemed.

Hold steadfast, dear ones. The Lord is returning soon!
