Creation - Biblical Doctrine

Looking closely at fiat (decree) Creationism is a rather clarifying exercise. We now look at the next component.

Quote: Genesis 1:1 summarizes God’s acts of creation, while the remainder of the chapter rehearses the details. Genesis 1:1 asserts the entire creation process; 1:2 describes the 1^st stage of creation as "without form and void"; and 1:3-31 unfolds God's subsequent stages of fashioning the original creation.
(Biblical Doctrine p.216.)

This component reassures me of God and His orderliness, timing, plans, order, divine call and purpose and all parts of the divine Creators order in our lives.

A passage from Jeremiah 31:35 states:
Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night?
Who stirs up the sea so that the waves roar; the LORD of hosts is His name.

This passage gives me hope of His plans and purposes for each of us in this needy world we live in!
