Week 34

Creation - Biblical Doctrine

As we continue to review, we see in Weeks 12-23 eleven points of truth
in Divine Creation.

The beginning of the universe and time (John 17:5)
Creation was rapid and out of nothing (Colossians 1:16,17)
The universe is distinct from and dependent on God (Acts 17:24-28)
The universe was created by the Triune God. The 3 persons of the Trinity worked together in the Creation of our world (1 Cor. 8:6; John 1:2; Genesis 1:2)
God's Creation was a free act (Ephesians 1:11)
Man was created directly, climactically, and specifically (Genesis 2:7, 27)
Adam and Eve were God's servants to govern the earth for Him (Genesis 1:27-31)
All creatures were to reproduce according to their KIND (Genesis 1:11,12,21,24)
All things were created mature (Genesis 1:14-16)
The universe was created very good (Genesis 1:31)
Creation was to glorify God (Romans 11:36)

For from Him (God) and through Him and
to Him are all things. To Him be
the glory forever.
