As we continue our review from Week 32-37, we see wonderful truths as revealed to mankind through the inspired, inerrant, holy, Word of God. As we begin to conclude this series I would like to get to the root of "Why Genesis?" for the Biblical Christian of today.
Beginning with Job, we see the reasoning of "by faith" as spoken from his lips about WHO God in reality, is -- the Creator! Righteous Job knew the Source of all things!
After Job received word of all his earthly possessions gone including his children killed, servants, cattle, camels either stolen or destroyed (Job 1:13-20) he states these words found in Job 1:30b: Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD. Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.
True righteousness recognizes that God is our Divine Creator and His Power is perfected in our weaknesses. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
