We are continuing to look at Bible passages that clearly emphasize the significance for a 24-hour day Historical history of the world.
Order is huge in the Biblical record. Have you ever pondered the accurate order of the Genesis account from a scientific viewpoint? From the Genesis 1:1-13 account of creation, a book written by Peter Stoner who served as chairman of the science division of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, elaborated on these verses. His book titled Science Speaks has several quotes that have come to my attention.
Quote one: What chance did Moses (author of Genesis) have when writing the 1st chapter (Genesis) of getting 13 items all accurate and in satisfactory order? His calculations conclude it would be 1 chance in 31,135,104,000,000,000,000, (1x31x10 2 1)
Quote: He then concludes: Perhaps God wrote such an account in Genesis so that in these latter days, when science has greatly developed, we would be able to verify His account and know for certainty that God created this planet and the life on it. Reference back to weeks 5 and 6. In the beginning God created ... Genesis 1:1. (This information was presented to me by Roger M. Thank you)
