Creation - Biblical Doctrine

Genesis begins the historical time-line of history (His Story). The Jewish calendar actually begins with day one. Our year of 2022 is actually 5783 on the Jewish calendar. 3761 B.C is the historical calculation the Jews use to calculate the time of the creation of Adam (Day 6 of creation) until today.

They use Scripture to calculate this time-line. Days and times are significant to the Christian world view. All of time is precisely calculated to a determined end. We see Genesis as Origins and Revelation as unveiling, disclosure. Its contents have a calculated Historical time frame and its meanings are profound for all mankind to consider.

The proofs of Messianic Prophecy fulfilled in Jesus Christ are most compelling. Consider this: The Old Testament was completed in 450 B.C. That is hundreds of years before Jesus' birth. We know over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament concerning Jesus' birth have been fulfilled through His life, death and resurrection. This is mathematically impossible apart from God alone!

In our day we have 1000's of New Testament manuscripts to back up the Old Testament claims. Consider 1 John 1:1-3 and be awed at our Creator God and His calculated and loving purpose for mankind:

What was from the beginning and what we have heard, what we have seen with our own eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life and the Life was manifested, and we have seen and proclaim to you that Life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us – what we have seen, heard, we proclaim to you also so that you too may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
