Several weeks ago I shared with you v.14 of Psalm 19. This closing prayer is a thoughtful benediction of the heart of a man devoted to his God, Creator and Just Lord!
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14
David practiced worship to his God. He knew the Law of God and the ceremonial practices God required. He also personally knew repentance and honest sacrifice come from the heart and not just lip service.
David states in Psalm 31:5 these words of truth: Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.
May we each commend our hearts and live to the Lord, God of Truth! Amen.
