The Word of Truth
From the Psalms

Week Forty Six

I'm reminded often just how personal my Savior, Jesus is toward me. There have been a number of times when someone very close to me has proven to not be who they appeared to be. Jesus experienced this. Listen to David as he shared
these words.

Psalm 41:9
Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.

This sad betrayal confessed by David was also a prophetic sign of future events.

From John 13:18 we read:
I do not speak of all of you. I know the ones I have chosen; but it is that Scripture may be fulfilled,
‘He who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.'

Christ in the Psalms - quoted by Apostle John of Jesus ... fulfilled!
God's Word is truly inspired
by the Holy Spirit!!
