Week Forty Eight

Last week we saw a profound quote from Psalm 110:1. God the Father was in view and the Son (Jesus) was at His right hand. Now in Psalm 110:2-7 we see prophetic words of future end of days' events.

Psalm 110:2-5
V.2. The Lord will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of Your enemies." V.3. Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power; in holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew. V.4. The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind, "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek." V.5. The Lord is at Your right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath.

Verses 2-5 give reference to the tribulation and the beginning of the millennial reign of King Jesus, the Reigning Priest in Jerusalem for 1,000 years. Note: Verse 5 infers that Jesus will be on the throne at this time and God the Father will be at His right hand!
