The Lord's Prayer is used all the time. It was a tool for the disciples (and us) in how to pray. The focus begins with the holiness of God and the desire for His kingdom power to rule our hearts until His return. After that heart adjustment then we begin our supplications. Powerful teaching from Jesus indeed!
Jesus teaches the Disciples to pray. Luke 11: 2-4
V. 2. And He said to them, "When you pray, say: 'Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. V. 3. 'Give us each day our daily bread. V. 4. 'And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.'
