Bartimaeus's boldness to cry out to Jesus. Mark 10: 47-48
V. 47. When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" V. 48. Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
This bold cry of help was a man's plea for mercy toward Jesus – who was the only One who could heal him completely. His fervent cry was heard and received. May we have this boldness in our cry for help from the only One who can truly heal us.
