Moses pleads to God for forgiveness of great sin. Exodus 32: 31-32
V. 31. Then Moses returned to the Lord, and said, "Alas, this people has committed a great sin, and they have made a god of gold for themselves. V. 32. But now, if You will, forgive their sin – and if not, please blot me out from Your book which You have written!"
Moses intercedes again for the people. His plea is very serious. He brings out the fact that God has a "Book He has written." Moses loves his people and desires for there sins to be forgiven. God answers Moses again. Moses truly loved God and God loved Moses for his open honest pleading. Don't be afraid to speak honestly with the Lord!
