Week Twenty One

A Prayer for Guidance.
Judges 6: 12-13

V. 12. The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said to him
"O valiant warrior."
V.13. Then Gideon said to him, "O my LORD, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, 'Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?' But now the LORD has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian."

Gideon was compelled to ask of the LORD, why have all these things happened to us? He asked the LORD directly in his prayer-visitation to reveal to his peoples why they were severely persecuted. The LORD answered him and we see a great victory would occur. Let us not be afraid to continually ask the Lord to show us how to have strength to fight the good fight of faith through His Power and Might. Amen.
