V.11. She made a vow and said, "O LORD of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a son, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and a razor shall never come on his head."
Hannah was a persecuted woman in her own family. She was also barren and desired a child dearly. She surrendered her desire to the LORD and He heard her plea. She would give birth to Samuel who would become a great prophet in Israel.
We each have access to our gracious Lord who does answer our prayers in His time and by His means. To God be the Glory!
