Week Twenty Seven

A worthless prayer.
Luke 18: 11-12

V.11. "The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. V.12. 'I fast twice a week; I pay tithes of all that I get.'"

As we approach Holy God let us be reminded that He sees the heart (Romans 8:27). Our prayers are received when humility of heart and mind are centered on God's will in our lives. He delights to hear and answer us when our mind is focused on Him!
