Week Twenty Eight

A worthy prayer.
Luke 18: 13

V.13. "But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, the sinner!'"

Our prayers matter to Holy God. We see here the earnestness of a repentant sinner's approach to God. May our prayer life be one of humility, repentance, thankfulness, and hope. The Lord delights to answer the one who walks obediently and
humble before Him.
