Week Thirty One

Jesus thanks His Father
for hearing His prayer.

John 11: 41-42

V.41. So they removed the stone. Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. V.42. "I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me."

This nugget from Scripture reveals a very profound point in the life of Jesus. First, we KNOW that the Father always heard Jesus' prayers. Second, He says this for those who were around Him. Third, for the confirmation of the Power of the Father and the Son to raise a dead person gave Deity another witness. Jesus and God are One! Here is another proof to who He truly is.
The Son of God – God! Amen.
