Week Thirty Two

A pastoral blessing.
1 Samuel 2: 20

V.20. Then Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife and say, "May the Lord give you children from this woman in place of the one she dedicated to the Lord." And they went to their own home.

Do you know the rest of the story with Hannah? Eli's prayer yielded Hannah more children. From 1 Samuel 2:21 we are told: The LORD visited Hannah; and she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters.
How delightful to know that God cares for us in such a personal way. Thank You Lord! Amen.
