V.6. The cords of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of death confronted me. V.7. "In my distress I called upon the Lord, yes, I cried to my God; and from His temple He heard my voice, and my cry for help came into his ears.
This is a "cry for help" to the one One who can truly bring relief from distress. Jesus knows our toil and trouble and He is forever making intercession for us. He wants us to be completely honest with Him because He know us completely. His Grace is sufficient for our deepest hurts and darkest fears. Let's trust Him just as boldly as David did.
