Week Thirty Nine

A prayer of thanks to God for
keeping His promise.
1 Kings 8: 15, 20

V.15. He said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David and has fulfilled it with his hand, saying, ...
V.20. Now the Lord has fulfilled His word which He spoke; for I have risen in place of my father David and sit on the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised, and have built the house for the name of the Lord, the God of Israel."

King Solomon had now finished building the temple that his father, King David had hoped to build. Solomon knew Who had spoken His word to his father, David and he now acknowledges that God's word was indeed fulfilled as had been spoken.

How can we acknowledge God's Word to others regarding His truth and His promises ? The world needs to hear the truth and see testimony of His promises and His faithfulness to His children.
