Week Forty-Five

Jesus teaches us the pattern of prayer.
Matthew 6: 9- 13

V.9. "Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. V.10. 'Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. V.11. 'Give us this day our daily bread. V.12. 'And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. V.13. 'And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]

This model for prayer is presented for us as a guideline to follow when we pray. His name is Holy. He is coming again. His will is to be done on earth. He provides for our daily needs. We are to be forgiving and seek His forgiveness regularly. He reigns for all time and eternity.

Let's remember that prayer is a gift from Him to us. He wants to hear from us!
