Week Forty Nine

The power of prayer.
James 5: 16

V.16. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Confession of sin is so important to the Christian life. God has given us His forgiveness which is so perfect and filled with redemption. We are told in this verse that forgiveness of one another is vital and healing in life. If you don't forgive others the result is "bitterness" and loss of contentment and joy. I pray that we will all be able to forgive one another and live in peace as we celebrate the birth of Christ.
