CONCLUSION
In this three-part series we have looked in both the Old and New Testaments at three different categories of Women Of Faith.
First we examined women who were barren. In this study, we were encouraged to see how God worked in each circumstance to bring about a miraculous conception and growing faith. Each lesson revealed God's powerful grace demonstrated through His love for people of all walks of life.
In the second series, we explored the boldness of women who God used to fulfill His plan for a nation, His plan for a deliverer, and His plan for the powerful spread of redemption to all mankind.
Lastly, we looked at women who believed God for who He is. Whether Jew or Gentile, they each believed God and demonstrated that belief in active faith. They were not afraid to forsake home and country to follow the one true God and Jesus His Son.
As we close this lesson, let's be reminded of Simeon and Anna. They were placed by God at the temple for such a time as this! They testified that Jesus had indeed come to earth as the Messiah, Savior, and Lord who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one can come to God except through faith in Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)
The gift of salvation that we have in Christ is a indeed a free gift! We have been saved by grace, through faith. This is not from ourselves but is the free gift of God, and it's not by works, so that no one can boast. (Eph. 2:8-9)
God created us for His good purposes. He has instructed us to look forward in hope to His blessed return. Like Anna, let us never relent night and day to pray and fast, always sharing all good things about Jesus our Savior with those who are placed in our lives. Jesus said, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matt. 28:20) He also said, "Behold I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to what he has done." (Rev. 22:12) And finally, Jesus declared, "Yes, I am coming quickly." (Rev. 22:20)
We will close this series with the words John the Apostle closed his book with. "Amen. Come Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen." (Rev. 22:20b-21)
